Adopting Pets
Adopting saves animals
Puppy Mills are evil, and most of the dogs that come from there are in 100% deplorable conditions that we wouldn’t place our worst enemy in!  Dirty, unkempt, often times riddled with illness or infestation.
Why Should you Adopt?
Every single year, 2.7 million adoptable dogs and cats are euthanized in the US. Too many pets end up in shelters, come from unfortunate conditions, or abuse or neglect; and few people consider adoption when looking for new family member.
Sure; they look sad, confused, or lethargic in that cold little cage and you think, I need a pet with a little “life" in them.  A bit happier or more friendly. But what you don’t see is the unconditional love they will give.  Meet them, take them outside to play, show them a little love… and you will see an entirely different animal! I promise you.  You would be skeptical or sad too if you were simply abandoned or neglected your whole life. Give them a chance.

When you adopt a pet, the spay/neuter is already done, first vaccinations are done… both of which can save you some of the up front costs. And screenings for illnesses, such as Heartworms or Distemper for example, are done too.  So all your have to do is take them in for an evaluation once you adopt – easy!  If you have ever purchased a puppy, and had to pay for all the new vaccines, you know how expensive this is! (And not to mention, if they get sick – it can be in the THOUSANDS)  Most adult dogs, or at least over a year are past that stage.  Depending on the dog, you may also save on housebreaking and training expenses too as many are already house broken.
